Filtaworx Semi-Automatic Filters are designed for applications where fully automatic operation is not required but the convenience of self-cleaning technology is still valued. The operator initiates the cleaning cycle manually — by turning a handle or activating a valve — and the filter’s internal cleaning mechanism completes the backwash automatically using system line pressure.
This approach delivers the same effective screen cleaning as our fully automatic models, without the cost and complexity of automatic controllers. Semi-automatic filters are ideal for intermittent-use systems, smaller installations, and applications where an operator is regularly on-site.
